Biography

Meet Vade Mey, an authentic synth-pop talent with roots in the heart of Wuppertal, Germany. With a knack for crafting infectious melodies and heartfelt lyrics, Vade Mey’s music reflects his diverse influences and life experiences.

After his debut album Wonderland crossed the impressive milestone of 500,000 streams within just half a year, Vade Mey released his new EP Wish I Could Rewind at the end of August, featuring his personal favorite track “Us.” Both Wonderland and the new EP were produced by Josh Frigo and Grammy-nominated mix engineer Ghian Wright.

Vade Mey quickly became known for his captivating live performances, including a sold-out debut album show featuring a string orchestra, dancers, and several guest musicians, as well as a standout gig supporting German singer-songwriter Johannes Oerding in front of 6,500 people.

Born into a Dutch-German heritage, Vade Mey’s sound is a fusion of cultural flavors, blending retro ’80s vibes with a modern twist. Drawing inspiration from artists like The Night Game, Betty Who, and The Strike, his music invites listeners to lose themselves under neon lights and savor the rhythm of the night.

Offstage, he’s a devoted father of two, balancing parenthood with his passion for music, and bringing infectious energy to every note he plays.
